SwissIX fees
Port Fees
From October 1st, 2004, SwissIX is pleased to offer all peering ports for free, without any monthly or yearly recurring fee. Our sponsors made this possible, along with volounteer work of our board members and several others, too. Thank you!
While there are no recurring fees, on some locations we need to charge a small setup fee, in order to be able to expand necessary cabling infrastructure. Some locations even offer free setup. Again: Thank you!
All free cabling is for Cat-5 FastEthernet only. If you need to connect via GigE (minimum aggregated traffic 50 Mbps), please contact us first, as we need to check available resources.
If you like to connect via FastEthernet (Cat-5), please follow the how-to-get-connected procedure. The deployment usually takes 1 to 2 working weeks.
